Ever have a day where any stimulation is too much? tara: That's me today.
I can work and be productive (even look at a computer and type), but noise or interaction coming from anyone or anywhere else is just driving me batty.
"Papa? Can I have some eggs?" over and over and over in the next room.
The refrigerator's making a god-awful rattle.
My bird is chirping.
The washing machine's going thwap-thwap-thwap, not loudly but I can still hear it.
I can feel the upstairs neighbors walking (and they're not doing it very hard).
And don't even THINK about touching me today.
I don't know what the deal is...a mood, I guess.
(J and kiddo, blessedly, are leaving for the afternoon.)
Re: Ever have a day where any stimulation is too much? C-Note: Sorta like when you tell your kids to "Shut up!". Then they switch to snickering or mimicing you. That is quieter then the previous loud stimulous of the chatter, but the tiny noises they make after you've demanded silence is more irratating then the original noise.
