death tapped my shoulder broken_saint: i had a bit of a crazy week, busy at work then i went out thursday night. i got soooOo shitfaced but only after 8 beers and 3 shots of blackhouse. weird aint it? well as it turns out i was bitten by a spider earlier thursday. i didn't pay much attention to it since it was a hectic day. woke up friday morning and felt like CRRRAP. turns out that the spider bite was the reason why i didn't react well to the alcohol and liquor. anyhow, i went to the poconos that friday night and during the day i started to see symptoms of itchiness and redness on my palms, feet and i started to get really sharp prickly pains in my feet. i should of paid much more attention to it .. but i was so tired from driving so long in the rain and figured that i just got a case of the pins and needles from the long long drive. well, when i got out of the car, i nearly collapsed. something was wrong and i was with my mother, crystal and her 4 friends. i was so tired and dizzy, so i had some tea and headed to bed. i woke up saturday morning and i felt 10 times worse. i was dizzy, so out of it, had horrible stomache pains, the "runs", and my throat felt like it was closing up. i couldn't breath and i really thought that was it. i rushed my ass to the nearest hospital. i sat there for 4 hours. when i got there, my condition had gotten worse. my whole body swelled up and i turned bright red. my skin had turned into a different texture overnight and became unbelievable itchy only to the touch. my feet were so swelled up and it felt like my sole's were severely burned and i was walking on sharp pebbles at the same time with every step. the doctor examined me for awhile and then gave me 75mg of benadryl along with 3 hits of steroids (pregnazone). waited for about an hour and my condition got better. my color started to return, the nausia lifted, and i was able to walk a bit better. went back to the resort shortly after and tried to enjoy the rest of my night even tho i was still a bit in pain.
tonite i sit back at home. i'm recovering. death paid me his visit the other night. i HATE hospitals, but i'm just glad i went this time. i dunno if i'd be here right now if i didn't ... anyhow even tho i was in pain earlier today, i managed to do some boating =) i'm on steroids all week! plus with me lifting, this should be fun.

Re: death tapped my shoulder audi_driver: wow.......two weeks ago I spent 5 hours in the hospital after getting bit by a spider. It's crazy. The other day, I got bit by a centipede in my garage......They hurt like heck too.
