Re: Desperate for some words of hope. .. drowning. . .: Thank you all so much for your kind words. . . It is truly nice to know that while I sit here alone, in essence, I'm really not.
I know that probably all of you have gone through this stage. I'm happy that some of you are further along than I am right now. . . Everything is just so raw right now. That emptiness he left seems to be swallowing me whole. The simplest tasks seem soooo difficult. . . But at least I know there's kindness and comfort here...
Thank you
Re: Desperate for some words of hope. .. PickingUpThePieces: I'm sorry you are hurting drowning; I and others here know your pain well. Focus on taking care of yourself - eat when and what you want, sleep when you can. Talk to people in your support system, be it friends or family. come to Ojar, read, post. Hang in there, it does get better but it takes time...

I agree with broken, cry... let it out, scream let it go! the best thing is to treat yourself now. Focus on your feelings and work on them. When I first got here I was a MESS, okay it's getting better. I've been at ojar for a yr now. I still have days where I become a mess, but for the most part I'm living a productive life. As for the breathing part I think most of us can relate. It's like your breath is stuck in your throat and you can't catch it for nothing! (((HUGS)))
Re: Desperate for some words of hope. .. thehitekrednek: Sorry you're here. It's a very tough time. As the others said, let it out, treat yourself as though you are ill, and read and post here. You're not alone, and although you can't feel the virtual hugs, we give lots.
Be strong ((((((((((HUG))))))))))
