When i pick the kids up fpr the weekend the x won't even send good clothes with the kids, even though i have bought most of them.Guess from now on what i buy for them will stay at my house, at least then when the kids and i go somewhere we they wil have there nice clothes and not just there play clothes to wear.
Re: I lost my cool jillieb44: We have it worded into the divorce agreement that he pays 50% of all child expenses above normal food & shelter...clothes, camps, educational expenses, and the like.
Our incomes are approx. the same (for the next month) so right now he's paid me for 2 months of clothes. Not as painful as before when he was paying NOTHING.
We'll see how long it lasts -- esp. when 'educational' expenses kick in -- the kids will be home in the fall and LOTS OF THINGS fall under 'educational' LOL.

Sorry...it sounded like it, and when I'm upset, I feel like I need to make sure I'm not doing something wrong here. But he thinks I'm rolling in the dough here, and our educational expenses have kicked in, and he's not pulling his share. Not paying the debt, you know, the little things that make or break my week until the next check comes in.
And yes, if i realized the sneakers were too small, i would have gotten her a new pair. But i am such a horrible mother, and didn't pick up on it.

I hate seeing my xgf in new clothes and our son is in pants with holes. Do I say anything about it? No. But I do take it upon myself to try and find him clothes, at least for when he stays with me.
I love the kid, despite her behavior.
