Made a new friend today! yella: I was at T's t-ball game, and one of the moms who's son is in Cub Scouts with T was there. Our team was playing her son's team.
Anyway, we got to talking and we're car pooling to the air show on Saturday, which is great, but the best part is that we are both newly single. Ok, you know what I mean...
This is big for me because now I'm not the only single mom on the Cub Scout circuit, and she's not alone in dealing with these issues either. So, it looks like I have a new friend!
She wants to go out and have fun, so I finally have someone who's a single mom to go out with and have something in common with!
Maybe I'm not so alone after all! :)

Apparently criminals disguise themselves as single Cub Scout moms to get close to unsuspecting citizens and use their new found friendships to burglarize their homes.

I have recently hooked up with a couple of single moms in the city, and well, supposedly our group has 12 members, but we three are the only ones who have actually made an appearance so far!! :D
We had dinner together yesterday, just the moms, and no kids! It was excellent! We're all at different points in our journey, and it was fun, full of laughter, and support for each other!!
Yay for girlfriends!! ;D
