What items of my kids to i keep here?????? twine: Well my kids live over 4 hours from me they have toys at there moms house and at mine, but there are some things ( new bikes which i bought them this spring) that i feel should stay at my house, yet there mother thinks they should go to her house. i pay my fair share of child support and believe that she could afford to buy bikes for at her house as well. There are lots of things like that new life jackets i bought, different clothes and toys.....am i been irrational thinking that what i buy should stay at my house??????

I don't think you are being realistic at all. You want the kids to have fun things to do when they come to your house, so I think that things you bought for them should stay with you unless they (the kids) specifically ask you if they can take it home.

Re: What items of my kids to i keep here?????? alonewith2: My son's stuff that is bought by his dad stays at his house. But the things my daughter's dad buys for her always comes here. Only because he doesn't have the room for it at his place (and it's not like he really buys her much anyway.)
I don't think you are being unreasonable. You bought those things for your kids to enjoy while at your place. I can see if they lived closer wanting to take the things back home, but the distance poses a problem with carting that stuff back and forth between the two homes, don't ya think?
Unless the kids specifically ask you if they can take something back home, I would just keep it there.
