Yellow jackets are evil creatures! alonewith2: Two days ago, I suprised my kids with a sandbox. While they were playing in the sandbox, I started cleaning up the yard, filling thier pool back up with water, etc...
I must have upset a yellow jacket nest because the next thing I know, a couple of them decided to go on a homicidal mission taking any thing in thier paths. INCLUDING my two little ones. They stung my son twice, once on the nose and once on the cheek. They got my daughter on her cheek. They came after me, but I escaped them.
NOW, my kids are scared to death to go in the backyard...AND my daughter is STILL awake because she's scared "bugs" will come get her. She made me go lock all the doors in the house and show her that all the windows are down. Still that is not enough. She still thinks they will come back after her.
I hate yellow jackets now!!! They have no purpose in this world whatsoever!!!!!
*no, YJ, this is not directed towards you, but you really need to warn your family because I went out and bought a ton of bug spray and will be going on a kill mission this weekend!*
