For me.....I could care less if she is happy. To be honest, I hope she chokes on a chicken bone......She destoyed my life and our little girl's life because she couldn't keep her pants up......

I am admittedly still in love with my ex. Not even just that I still love him but that I'm still IN love with him.
So I don't feel indifference, but I also don't feel hate.
Makes it quite the challenge to get over it.
Indifference would be a relief.
I wish I could change the way I am emoting. Any suggestions I'm all ears!
Re: If you love something set it free... Lumpy: To look at it from another angle, no one owns anyone anyway. We're all free to leave at anytime, for whatever reason that suits us at the time. You let go after it becomes too painful to hold on anymore. Set yourself free.
Re: If you love something set it free... Whirlpool: I have a different take on this "if you love someone set them free" thing. The one that needs to be loved is you loving yourself, and by loving yourself you need to set YOURSELF free. In other words, move on and find happiness. You are the one in chains, and are your own warden. The person you speak of that needs to be "set free" has already set themself free, they do not need you to set them free. They are happy and on with their new life, set yourself free as well.
Easier said than done.
