Off to a great start Melbel: So, I just got up half and hour ago, I slept close to 8 hours ;D. I have not done that in years. I woke up to my dad calling...get dressed we are going to get coffee and go the hospital to see your sister. Ok as long as we stop for coffee, I will go see the freak shows with my dad. Saw them last night before Bunco...painful. My dad still doesn't EVER want to see my mom. I think I have said before my mom and sisters are.......umm...."special". They have been divorced for 13 years and my mom still talks about how bad of a husband he was and so happy with currently her 3rd husband. She is so mean to him, and he just takes it out of respect of the fact we are still his kids (despite we are all older) and not going to talk s**t about mother.
Ok back to the great part~

Pedicure @ 200
Then the gfs are meeting at 4:00 for a pre-cocktail hour and light dinner. Then we are leaving at 5:00 for the concert at the winery ::). I am already relaxed and with a full night of sleep and a day of pampering, god watch out I may stay relaxed :-\ Need to put on a layer of make up before daddy gets here.
My dad is doing very good. Had a check up yesterday and doc said he is doing great. Now if he would just stop smoking I will not have to beat him....

So, my hair lady went into labor last night, so I didn't get my hair done. The massage was awesome, I just had one but I feel like I deserve it! Oh well I am looking and feeling good and almost ready to do. I am going to be late for precocktail hour, I feel so bad ::). So, have a great Friday night kids....I know I will!

Re: Off to a great start Melbel: The concert was amazing!!! It has been a long time since I had that much fun. We stop at a bar before heading out (missed precocktail hour at the house...damn finding the perfect shoes)I was in charge of getting us there so I pay for drinks and make sure we stay on task :)
We get there and the moment I open the car door smile! I feel the warmth of the sun and I am with my girls!! We walk about 1/2 mile to the vineyard and get through the gate and get in the beer/wine line. Guess what they will sell you the whole bottle of wine if you want it and we want it + 3 more and 6 glasses of Terminal Gravity. We find a great spot to sit and drink, never sat. I have the best picture of the 3 gfs and I, the sun is starting to go down and the mountains behind us...I love it. So we drink, drink more and go to the area closer to the stage. Yeah good times ::). The concert gets over, I am glad I am not in charge of driving and then we go to the bar and hang out for awhile. I get home and go to sleep.
Now this morning I had to go and get my car...so I called my dad who is laughing so hard but agrees to take me. I get the pics printed at the store and take a walk down by the river. Come home hang out talk to a friend and take a nap on the couch.
I have ordered dinner and put on my pjs! Man it has been a great couple of days!!
