A raise! timetobefree: I got my raise today! WOOHOO!
When I accepted this position, I counter-offered on the salary. I was promised my requested amount within six months of starting, so I accepted the lower amount, based on that promise.
I've been gently reminding my boss about his promise since my six month mark, and he kept promising to make it happen. I've been here about eight months now.
I was getting close to another reminder, when he came to me today and told me he had submitted the paperwork! The best part is the raise is retroactive to my six month date. Fabulous! ;D
