Dang Exwife! hudson: I've been talking more about my exwife lately than I have in some time. The topic of divorce has arisen once again in my family and social circles as my younger sister faces the potential of divorce. So I've been lending my own personal experiences to the discussions. I've been talking about her, the evil one who left me.
Now to the vent. I dreamt about my exwife last night, for the first time in a long, long time. In the dream she was beautiful, happy to see me with a big smile on her face, she was with her mom and they greeted me with open arms. When I woke up all I could feel was OUCH, it never happened.
When am I ever going to be over this girl?!!!!

Don't let your still thinking about your ex get you down....obviously helping your sister through this is going to bring it all back for you.......but the more you talk about it and relive it...the easier and less painful it becomes....or so they say :)
And I just want to say that....sharing your experience and helping her through this is going to help her so much.....and its great that you are there for her. (Not so great that you have this particular experience in common, but you know what I mean)
My sister and I both separated from out husbands around the same time.....and it was a GREAT comfort to have someone who KNEW what I was going through.....both of us still look back and say "I couldn't have gotten through it without you".......your sister is lucky to have you to lean on right now....and she will appreciate it.

Re: Dang Exwife! sosad05: Blazing....I know what you mean. The dreams are horrible! There is nothing worst then having a good dream about them then realizing the reality of divorce. It hurts.
