As a side thought - I'm unsure of my opinions about "sex addiction", but if a man could have a woman like Halle Berry, or Jennifer Lopez, or any of the other incredibly gorgeous women like them and STILL run around on them then they MUST have something wrong in their brains. It also makes me think that maybe my X didn't run around on me because I wasn't good enough - it was because HE wasn't good enough. I deserve better.

Jackpot. It just proves the point that cheating is COMPLETELY about the cheater, and IN NO WAY about the victim. I don't pretend to understand it, but I have caught a glimpse of the mind set from time to time.
I'm not real sure about the validity of "sex addiction" either. Some people cheat compulsively, but calling it sex addiction lets them off the hook, I think. IMO, very seldom is it completely about sex.
Re:It even happens to beautiful people. NitaB: i saw Halle's interview, too. I thought it was awesome and I so understood. I'm a member of her fanclub and awhile back she sent out cards to each member with this quote:
"I can be changed by what happens to me But I refuse to be reduced by it."
Now after hearing this interview on Oprah, I understand precisely what she meant.
