Yeah, I definately agree he is just doing it to get to you....and its working!
I don't know much about birds but I like them, I have 2 budgies, I've always had 2....they are not the original 2 but I can say that they do seem to adapt to a "new" friend pretty quick.
I had the same 2 for yrs and they were total buddies, but I let mine fly all over the house and one time the kids left the door open and one flew out :o
Took me about a week of looking at the poor, sad and pathetic one left behind before I went and got a replacement and they hit it off right away. Since then, the other one died so I had to get a new one again and they get along great too.
I know its hard if you were attatched to them.....but I would get another one for the one left behind and try not to let him upset you, it'll just make him keep it up.
What an asshat >:(
