He Made Progress Today startingover: Most of you are aware my two boys have autism and the oldest one is almost completely nonverbal. Well,

I had just paid for my stuff at the convience store and was rounding up the kids to leave when he started signing "more" and "please". It has been a long time since I have seen him use sign language, so I knew he was serious about something.

It took me a couple of minutes to figure out what it was, but when I did I got him to point at it with a little cajoling. Then he used the sign for please again.

Of course I had to get the beef jerky for him. ;D

Just thinking about it now brings tears of joy to my eyes.
