Re: Bad news today yella: I'm so sorry, Hun. I know this has got to be tough for you, but you're right, she's in a better place. As cliche as that sounds, I've always believed that to be true.
Re: Bad news today alonewith2: I'm doing okay, I guess. We knew it was coming. My sisters and I just went out to visit her a few weeks ago because they didn't think she'd make it until this weekend (which was when a family reunion was supposed to be...)
I'm happy that I was able to see her before she passed, but it's still hard knowing that she's gone. My dad called right during my son's birthday party today to let us know that she had just passed away. It was hard to keep our spirits up after that.
My sister just called. The viewing is Sunday and the funeral is Monday... :'(
