Do you truly know what it is like to sacrifice?
Do you know what it is like to have you world turned inside out and have someone you love proceed to shit on it?
Do you know what it is like to realize that the one person in your life that you thought you could always count on turns out not to be?
Do you know what it is like to wake up one morning and realize that the person you love no longer loves you?
Do you know what it is like to realize that the world you built around you actually revolves around your partner?
Do you know what it is like to start from scratch…time and again?
Do you know what a weak, insipid and horrible man you really are?
You are J. You have been for a long time. You have constantly treated people like this. You come across as loving and caring, but the truth is you don’t actually know how to be loving and caring. If you truly knew how to love someone, then you would understand kindness and caring.
I always thought that you taught me about forgiveness…but the truth is, I knew about forgiveness. You didn’t teach me that because you aren’t even capable of forgiving others or yourself.
You have lost me. You will regret it one day. Your loss.
I will grow and learn from this experience, because I choose to learn from it. Not just file it in the back of my head. You- you choose not to...so be it.
