Re: tattoo twine: Ihad posted bout this before, I had wanted a tatoo for close to 10 years but the stbx wouldn't let me, i had one done on june 8 and it was awsome, it is a design i drew with the words mr. soul on it, mr soul i s my favorite song by neil young and kinda says who i am as well. i don't think many people do it cause its a fad but now it isn't frowned upon to have a tattoo anymore. I will definatly get another to honor my mothers memory and would like something to do with my kids as well. Just remember it is forever so don't do it to keep up with a fad cause the fad won't last forever
Re: tattoo LostTeacher: i think a lot of people jump on this bandwagon, but for me, it was a big deal.
my sis and dad got one done together, and it was something i felt like i missed out on.
but then i realized that it was because i was supposed to have this experience by myself. i needed to do this for me.....not for my dad, not for my sister, not for my ex...but just for me.
i don't know if i could do the whole huge picture thing. mine are rather small, and just symbols.
but they are a real and true reflection of me...and me only. it's why i love them so much.

If I ever get a tattoo, I probably will get the kanji symbol for "Strength". I don't think I want to be marked like cattle, though.

I'd get the kanji symbol for "what does it mean?" Then, when somebody asked me what it means I'd say, what does it mean. And then they'd say yeah, what does it mean? I'd be like what does it mean. Then they'd be all Dude, what does it mean! i'd say, dude, I told you what it means twice. Then they'd probably go upside my head.
Re: tattoo Deadfish: Haha Lumpy!
Re: tattoo kitkat: If you get a tat in a language/glyph other than your own make darned sure you know ahead of time what it is. Don't want some wise-acre putting something on you that translates to "I'm a stupid a** monkey f**ker"
