Re: tattoo Chris: went to get my third yesterday, but they couldn't take us, so i'm making an appt for later on this month. this one is giong to be the pisces tribal zodiac sign, with my brother and i's initials and birth year written in it with a shamrock behind the symbol and behind it the italian flag.

Re: tattoo 2be: Do you all think tattoos are cool or just way over-rated anymore? I thought about getting one recently but then thought that I'd just be jumping on the fad bandwagon. Not that any of you getting one isn't fine and dandy... if you want to get one, great.

Re: tattoo Peaceandquiet: I don't think all tattoo's are cool... but you have to respect the person that wears it because to them it does mean something. Most people don't get inked for the fad of it.. they do it because there is something close to them that they want to always remember. Much like a relative, child or friend that has passed. A symbol of strenght, of unity or of fear. Something that reminds that person of a feeling they never want to forget.. and in a way if you think about it they are sharing it with you. I don't think it is something you do on a whim or in a drunken stooper, it is something that you usually have thought about for a while. The process of getting one done to is in itself an experience. The pain of something being put on your body in that fashion.. also reminds you of that image that you are putting on your body. It can also clear your mind and let that memory lie at peace.
Its many things to many people.. depends on who you talk to...
