Re: My wife said we are delaying the inevitable. Is tonight the night? Melbel: I would try and talk again this weekend.  You both said alot last night and give each other time to process.  I am very proud that you told her how you felt, good job!  I know it wasn't easy.

Re: My wife said we are delaying the inevitable. Is tonight the night? spooky: If she knows that you want to try then it really is her call now. She's the one considering stopping counseling, so I'd take that as a refection of how she feels. Anewday mentioned going to her own counselor. That might be worth throwing out to her sometime. If you've been going together and it isn't working, this different approach might work. And I hate to say it, but you might want to brace yourself just in case. And no, you still won't be prepared. Good luck.

Re: My wife said we are delaying the inevitable. Is tonight the night? just_me_detroit: She saw a therapist on her own for about 3 months last year. We did talk about her going back again so she could go on medication to take the edge. I think it might be worth a try.
