I have to disagree with that, to some extent. I have tried (maybe too hard) to be myself, and it didn't seem to work. Sure I held back a bit, not revealing everything. But genreally speaking, I have not put on an act for any guy. It's just not me. So finally, the one person I did not hold anything back with at all (b/c I wasn't expecting a 'relationship' with him) is the one who appreciates me the most, and likes me for who I am, not what I've done and where I've been. Anyone else would have been scared away completely.

I have no desire either. I never asked to be in this position again. If I wanted to be looking for someone new, I would have left my ex.
