I don't really know the circumstances of your situation, but my x turned into a very cruel person when the divorce occured. I couldn't understand what the deal was when he initated the divorce, cheated, left, took no responsibility, still somehow I was labeled as the difficult spouse. I don't know what to tell you, but many people told me the same thing that the person above wrote which was that it had to do with his own guilt. It seems odd and back ass wards, but there is not much that I understand in this divorce situation. Sorry that someone is treating you poorly. -Chard.
