Chippendales tonight.........help!!!!! bluskygrl: Didn't really want to go, but really want to get out of the house.... best friend is dragging me (or her mom is really)
So, I am running lqte and trying to get ready, have no idea what people do, wear, drink, tip, do etc....
Oh wise OJAR ladies hope ;) some of you have experience????

First off ... relax ... who do you think you are going to see there? It is basically a girls night out -- and you should somewhat treat it as such. You are going to watch men ... not pick one up.
That being said ... usually girls wear their sexiest of outfits ... always cracked me up --- coz I'm pretty sure these guys aren't going to pick you up and sweep you off your feet ----HOWEVER -- the sexier the outfit ... the greater chance of getting up on stage ;) ... And oh that wouldn't be such a bad thing. Skirt --- flashes across my mind ... If you don't want to be violated ... then wear something nice .. but not flashy.
Drink ... what you can handle ... their drinks are super expensive and so I would suggest getting one ... of whatever ..but, not putting too much stock into that ---- UNLESS ... you were to oh .. perhaps ... buy a shot or two from one of the guys *ahem* .... It's different depending how it's set up ... if smaller situation then you will have chippendale waiters ... then of course you are going to tip more .. and want a few extra drinks ... If it is a big production .. you might not even have waiters ... See when you get there -- don't treat it any different than a bar.
What to do .... well ...... usually --- you will whistle, hoop and hollar, scream and make as much noise as you can --- see you need to draw attraction to yourself .. so that they want to show you a lil attention ;)
Just go to have fun ... your best friend (or her mom rather) .. chose a good activity that is pretty superficial and a good girls night out ...

I've heard I'm not missing much, but the one time I was going to get a chance to go...a friend asked me to plan one for her bachelorette party. I did all the planning, the limo, reservations at places all night, etc...and what happens? I get in a bad car wreck and the airbag burns my arms so bad I'm going nowhere. What luck! I heard they had fun, though. :-\
