Re: HAZY HOT AND HUMID IN NORTHEAST!WHAT ABOUT WHERE YOU ARE? yella: Yeah... not to mention the weight it adds. I swear I spend the majority of the summer with my hair up. I forget what it looks like by the fall. ::)
Re: HAZY HOT AND HUMID IN NORTHEAST!WHAT ABOUT WHERE YOU ARE? Roseville: Southwest Ohio - about 96 degrees and high, high humidity. Hot, sweaty, no good unless you're in the pool, which is where we will be tonight.
Smiley~I'm in total agreement on the hair situation. After I had my babies and became a SAHM, I noticed that I wore it up all the time - everyday - and in the summer, I'd pull it up even at night to keep my neck cool - so about a week or so ago - I cut it - for the first time in many years. I've never had it short like this, and I love it. It's cool, and I sweat a whole lot less ;D Now I think, what the heck was I keeping all that hair for when I kept it pulled into a pony anyways? It gave me a whole new attitude, too. Now that I don't have the hair to hide behind, I actually do my makeup and wear earrings - LOL. Downside- I got the backside of my neck burned on our trip to the zoo - so I am truely and officially a REDNECK!

Re: HAZY HOT AND HUMID IN NORTHEAST!WHAT ABOUT WHERE YOU ARE? ATLfoodie: Try being down here with 97 degree temps, 85 % humidity. On the interstates with the traffic at rush hour in the afternoon it can be well over 100.
Re: HAZY HOT AND HUMID IN NORTHEAST!WHAT ABOUT WHERE YOU ARE? LostTeacher: going up to 35C here tomorrow, well over that with the humidity.
it's almost too hot! too hot to do anything outside, anyway.
hard to get work done around the house also...especially in my new apartment. the window a/c just doesn't quite make it thru the house.
