I feel that way all the time
My ex I was there for 24/7...
Instead of looking out for me
I was looking out for her...While she was screwing me over behind my back...
Then when she was "Busted" per se she chose to not talk to me about it by no contacting me
Sucks when you are a POS and know it...

I also regret that I lost sight of myself. I allowed her misery to affect the things I hold so dear...family and friends.
The counselor once told me "What's best for YOU right now"...I couldn't even answer. All I had considered for 13 years was 'her' or 'us'. What a revelation!!!
Several times she ran...several times I pulled her back. I regret pulling her back before we both said "I do".
REGRETS ACKNOWLEDGED!!! Now tell them goodbye...
