XFIL visits OW wendieann: Well, the kids had a good weekend at daddys. STBXH called and wanted an extra hour, because his dad was there! No problem. :( What really hurts is, STBXH and I were together for 4 yrs before his father came to visit...
Meanwhile, STBXH and OW haven't' been together for a year yet and they drive all the way to see them?? They didn't have the time to drive half the distance when we were married??
That hurt.... Obviously, completely welcoming her into the family, when they didn't for me.... esp. after everything, those two have done >:( ....
I really try to look at it, that at the kids get to see their grandparents. However, it isn't like I already tried a billion times to get them together....
I really try to look at it, that STBXH is his son, and no matter what he does, he will always be there for him. Even if they weren't there for us as a couple when we were married. It is very hard to do...
The first time XFIL sees his 1 yr old grand-daughter is when OW is holding her...sigh... Perhaps only a mother would understand the pain I felt/feel...
The OW is pretending to be mommy to them.... >:(
XFIL is going out of his way to visit them in their huge home...
I imagine they took TONS of pictures... :'( :'( :'( :'(
How can anyone look at the OW holding MY BABY and not think, "this isn't right"..... >:(

Re: XFIL visits OW trapped: When my ex and I split up the first time, before we eventually reconciled much later, there was another woman. Wouldnt you know his family completely embraced her...particularly his mother.
It felt like a huge slap in the face. I could not understand why they were so quick to embrace her.......did they really think I was that terrible of a wife to him?
Sorry youre dealing with this. I dont have children but can imagine that makes it sting all that much more. I suppose its inevitable that they find someone else just as you will one day as well.

It really is shocking eh? You wonder if they have any morals or values themselves.... but they really do have to stand by their own. Blood is thicker than water as they say. They don't have much of a choice but to support family... even if they make sh*ty decisions.
