BBQ & life sheydp: Yesterday we had a great big BBQ at home. I was able to (mostly) clean up my whole main level with assistance from his nephew and my kids (and able to hide what we didn't finish lol). My bf made THE BEST meal, Texas style, with meat, queso, and beer we brought back from our trip to Texas. We had most of my family, a friend of his from work and his girlfriend, and our neighbor - 21 people in all! It was delicious, the house looked great, and now everyone knows what a great cook my love is (he got HUGE compliments).
Seriously, I love my life. I feel like I have FAMILY - all I ever really wanted. My friend will be here by the end of the week with her daughters, his family will be up to visit from Texas at the same time. Family. (happy sigh)

When I told him I was panicking about all that needed to be done, he said "we will handle this like we have handled all our other crises" (me) "how?" (him) "together!" :D :D :D
