ME TOOOO!!
I know he never once spoke of his 1st wife to me... only terrible things about her... He never discussed any good memories he had with her... except when his son was born he wept a "single tear" and he wasn't even in the room... ::) SOOO, when our son was born, and he was right there with me, I looked for that "single tear"...and nope...nothing... LOL....
So, I imagine the only things out of his mouth about me are nasty... At least I do think of good memories too.... ;)
Re: Memories? Do the X's remember? broken_saint: maybe at first they do. i know i felt "weird" after things calmed down and i started going on with life.
remember they have left along time ago... that period of "thinking of you" is mentally long gone for almost all of the leavers. so when the time comes that we're physically not there, the SO is replacing our presence, which makes it hard for them to think much of us at that point. i guess it really depends on how much of a heart they have but then again how much of a heart do most leavers have when they leave us the way they do....

Re: Memories? Do the X's remember? gatorgirl: I don't know if ex's have feelings. My ex is very good at hiding emotions so it's hard to say. But like all humans we feel so somewhere's down the line he will probably reflect on his feelings.
