Having a hard time today CDNgurl: I'm having a bit of a rough day, after a bit of a rough weekend..
Most of the time, I do so well, but I'm always a little emotional when my daughter comes back from her weekend with her dad.
My daughter came home last night, and she was pretending she had a bottle, talking baby talk, and was signing "rock a bye baby".
I just can't find this cute... it hurts. I'm just not at the place yet where I can be happy for my ex and for their new baby.
I guess I just need a hug and to be reminded of my worth. Rejection mixed with cruelty is just a bit of a bummer.

Oh, I can't imagine that pain... However, you were there with him FIRST... OW can have "seconds" with him....
As for your daughter.... I know your heart is trying to be there for her, and putting your own sadness aside is hard to do. :( Remember she will act like that with any baby... Just pick her up and do the exact same things to her... Rock her like your baby... 8) and remind her how much you love her.
How about taking her and picking out/buying a very special baby doll... and then you both can play baby with her....
