I still am a strong willed child.. but as real youngster I dunno.. I was terrified of my old man.. not him as a person, but as a disciplinarian... look out.

The best lesson I've learned so far is to pick your fights. I know the urge is to break 'em, but you have to let them win some of the time. I'll verbally spar with my daughter, but she knows when daddy gets "that tone" in his voice, it's time to stop, drop and roll...
