Re: this is killing me td7629: Hi there.. I know this feeling and it sucks.. don't be to hard on yourself. You need to work to support your family. The good news is that someone will be there, grandmom. I go through this often.. whether it is because I need to work or both of my sons have a game at the same time.. trying to decided who's game I go to.. Hang in there.. just remember, You are doing the best you can and that is all that matters.
Re: this is killing me giver: Thanks so much for the support and kind words. I'm happy to say that I called the coaches wife, stayed on the phone the entire game (speaker phone, min & hers) and was able to at least feel like I was there and my daughter knew I was listening in. She even heard me yell at her while she was at bat.
Then today my boss told me to go ahead and take 1/2 a day and go to her game and just come in late. So All worked out well.
I still get mad thinking about the crappy financial situation he has put me in, but I also know that I'm strong enough to get us (my daughter and I) therough this and we're gonna have more than we ever did with him. Thanks guys.
