As far as precautions, just make sure someone knows where you are and that you have your cell phone with you. I'm sure you have good instincts and you wouldn't even be considering it if you didn't feel comfortable with meeting up for a weekend. If you want to be on the safe side...maybe make reservations someplace near by so if things don't work out you have somewhere to go and if they do, just call and cancel them.

Re: Invitation to the beach.... Chris: looks like the trip might be off. ex called yesterday afternoon and said that she was put on bed-rest due to her pregnancy and the outcome doesn't look good, so i might be helping watch the girls sometime this weekend if she goes into the hospital.
