Ring around the finger brokenman: Alright, so I was reading some posts out here this morning and finally decided I needed to get to work. So I close the browser and move my hands to start typing and the I felt it. Phantom Ring. I look down at my left hand and see that my finger is still ringed by the dent of my wedding band. I hadn't thought about it a long time. Frankly, I stopped noticing it when it became less prominent a while ago.
But anyway, here it is the middle of June. I took the ring off way back last October. I wonder if this thing will ever go away. It makes me feel a bit branded in a way. I'm not going to dwell on it, and it really doesn't change my mood or attitude today, but geezy-pete. Oh well, it is interesting at best that my ex never wore her rings enough to even dent her finger. Perhaps that could have told me someting years ago. :)
Anyhow, you all take care. And if anyone knows a simple treatment to help this finger heal, let me know. Until then, I'll wait it out.

My stbx allowed me the pleasure of getting her diamonds back, so I'm tossed between having them melted down into something for me or just trading them in for something for me.
Decisions, decisions........
I think a Caribbean cruise for 7-8 days will make you completely forget about that 'scar'.

Re:Ring around the finger picadilly: Hey Broken, I understand that all too well. I sometimes run my thumb along my ring finger like I used to do to twirl my ring, only I find there is nothing there. Strange how old habbits die hard.
Re:Ring around the finger Bubba: Oh thanks Brokenman! I just took mine off on Sunday, so you mean to tell me I get to look forward to this odd "missing" feeling for months to come! LOL.
Of course I never got the "dent", heck it doesn't look like I ever wore ring. But yet I feel it missing. I notice I go to "spin the ring around my finger", yet there is no ring.
Oh well - it seems by your post, I will have this odd feeling for some time.
Re:Ring around the finger chinup: I took mine off at the start of December. Never had a dent but I still panic for a split second every couple of weeks when I feel it "missing".
