you work through them to improve.
Friends inquire about your life, and listen. Offering advice and support.
Friends don't talk about each other behind their backs.
Friends don't lie and tell people they don't talk to you.
Friends don't lie about you.
Friends don't blame you for their mistakes.
Friends don't stay angry over the past, they talk it out, don't get
defensive, work with each other to forgive and move on.
Friends don't block you from their IM programs.
Friends don't hide their cell phone numbers.
Friends don't send you two word emails in response to anything you
write, let alone not responding at all.
Friends are concerned when you are feeling down.
Friends are not afraid to admit the things they have in common, they
happily discuss them.
Friends are not ashamed of the other.
Friends don't tell you one thing and than do another.
Friends don't give you their word and never follow through.
Friends are not afraid to be seen in public with the other.
Friends don't change who they are depending on who they are around.
Friendship is not one sided, both sides give and both sides receive.
Friends don't keep secrets from each other.
Friends trust each other.
Friends respect each other.
Friends validate each other.
We are not friends.
How we were ever more than that is beyond my comprehension now. You
will never truely see the woman you lost in me.
You are always welcome to see your dogs. I don't hate you. I never
have. I've forgiven you. And I've forgiven myself.

Re: I Sent This One broken_saint: i know how it feels, one day you're living a life with someone you've been with for so long and love it... and the next, POOF it's like it never happened. i wish i knew why they just decide to walk away and abandon us after all we've been through together. never thought we'd see the day where we look to the other side of the table and they're not there.
