I'm in a similar boat as you....first the filing was delayed because my stbx didn't want to pay half and now the hold up is that he is that he's "too busy" to get the paperwork notarized. What pisses me off is that he's the one that begged me to get the ball rolling since he lives in another state and now he's the one delaying everything! Hopefully everything will go more smoothly for you...good luck!

I had to be strong and look out for myself. he moved in with the OW and didn't want to work things out.....i wasn't going to allow him to have his cake and eat it to. I filed first so everything was filed in my county, the court appearances are in my county, and I received some bonuses when it came to custody of our son. The ball was and still is in my court. Re: I made a decision superwife: Good for you. I was there too. Not only is he stalling b/c he doesn't have the attorney fees, he's stalling b/c he has not helped me with our debt. Now that he was finally served, the wheels are in motion...
