Re: I made a decision jadedangel: [color=navy"> I too will just say ... good for you ...

I think your 'price for freedom' .. will bring more than that ... knowing it was your choice and you pushed it through will hold even more conviction in the end.

.... Hell .... soon when I join the working world .. I can contribute to funds like .... "Help AW2 get rid of her burden" funds ;)[/color">
Re: I made a decision BeatenNotBroken: That's great now you can start to close out this chapter of your life and begin anew.
Re: I made a decision alonewith2: My first initial consultation with my lawyer is for 3pm on Monday.  I have no idea what to expect, but hopefully all goes well.  At one point in time, we were in agreement with everything, but who knows if that still stands...

Originally, we agreed that:
1.  We share joint custody of our daughter.
      A.  I get primary custody
      B.  He gets every other weekend/holiday visitation - to be set up as the same as my son's.
2.  I keep the house.
      A.  He signs the deed over to me.
      B.  I don't pay him anything for whatever he feels his share of the equity would be.
3.  Other marital assets.
      A.  He keeps his car.
      B.  I don't ask for any equity from his car.
4.  Personal debt/assets.
      A.  He keeps all personal debt/assets that he acquired before and after marriage - not including the house.
      B.  I keep all personal debt/assets I acquired before and after marriage - not including his car.
5.  Health Insurance
      A.  He keeps insurance on our daughter.
      B.  He pays 30% of health services not covered by insurance.
      C.  I pay 70% of health services not covered by insurance.
      D.  To be started at next enrollment period or whenever divorce is final.  (not sure which)
6.  Retirement plans
    A.  He keeps his, and I recevice nothing from it.
    B.  I keep mine, and he receives nothing from it.
7.  Life Insurance
    A.  We both carry life insurance on ourselves for the kids.
    B.  We both carry life insurance on the kids.
8.  Other expenses
    A.  Summer camps, school clothes, after school activities, etc  expenses will be shared 50/50.
9.  Alimony - Neither of us request this.

Not sure if I'm missing anything...
