If he's making you feel worthless, you need to stop taking to him unless it's strictly about business. For you...

it was about business.  i requested to sit in on a meeting, his answer was no, I got upset how how condescending he was being and that led to his blaming me for xyz and making me feel like crap again.  then walking out with a "pffff".  nice, right?  I wish I wasn't so sensitive.
Re: really need help right now yella: Ok, I didn't realize that.

If it's about business, then treat HIM like a business too. Get into professional thinking mode as much as you can. Practice looking at him like a business entity instead of an ex boyfriend. It's hard to do, and does take practice, but it's something that you'll need to do in order to work there in some sort of peace.

If you can't do it on your own, enlist help.

Also, avoid asking him these things if you can. I don't understand your working relationship with him. Is he someone you have to report to?
