Ever feel like the third wheel?...... madmax: I have a great bunch of friends...all married, some with kids.
They've all been very supportive throughout this ordeal...inviting me to stay with their families during the week...dinners, etc.
But they are all happily married...and I just feel like a third wheel; the loner of the bunch.
Flip side is going home to an empty house...wow, great! (<-Note sarcasm)
Know what I mean ???

One of the hardest things is feeling like everyone else is happliy married/coupled off and that no one understands....

Especially going home to an empty apartment after being out with them - that's the worst for me, knowing I'm the only one going home alone to an empty, quiet apartment. I've actually started leaving all the lights on, and the t.v. as well, so things aren't quite so depressing. A waste of energy I know - but I need to do it for my sanity.
