I do the same thing. I leave the SAT TV turned to music so it keeps the atmosphere of the place up. Works pretty well for me!
Come to think of it...rock n roll sounds much better than her bitchy attitude ever did :D

It does bother me sometimes that you look at what that couple has or this couple has and your just like WTF? I had that too and she left for what exactly???
Sometimes I just can't deal with it so my friends ask me to invite a friend over so I end up calling a girl-FRIEND to come joining me (I'll clarify that, just a friend nothing more..someone I can just chat with)

Just last night a friend invited me to her house to swim.... At 10:00 pm it was still 92 degrees. I went, and she intended for me to meet some guy.... but, she never let me in on the secret.

let's just say i know how my friend felt for the longest time.
i had a great friend that was single for a long time while many of us were getting engaged, getting married, having babies.
now....it's me in that situation.
most of my friends are great, and their husbands were my friends for a long time....
but it's hard to fit into a world that is not the same as yours anymore.
kind of sucks. but getting used to it.
which i dont' know if it's a good thing or a bad thing.
