Too controversial for polite company?

Too controversial for polite company? Chey: So this whole Mel Gibson thing has really whipped up a lot of talk.  People have opinions but are too afraid to voice them.  Talk of shunning him professionally...any thoughts on this?

Maybe he shouldn't drink and drive, but to call him an alcoholic is plain wrong. You don't know him and you d*mn sure don't know how he drinks.

Many of us here have at one point in time or another had one too many and driven. That does not make us an alcoholic.

I am sick and tired of you labeling people you do not know. Grow up Freck and join the REAL world!
Re: Too controversial for polite company? ChristyM: I think Mel has said himself that he's an alcoholic.  I think the question is ... do we speak how we really feel when we're drunk or do we just speak bullshit?  My daughter has a saying "the drunk mind speaks the sober heart".  Hmmm ... food for thought.
