One word of advice. Watch your back. Remember, this guy knows where you live, where you work, your schedule, etc. I am not trying to scare you (I think you did the right thing). But please be careful. Being backed into a corner can bring out the worst in some people. I do not want to hear that you have been hurt by this guy.
I know you are hesitant to call HR, but if there is a manager that you can talk to where you work to let them know of a possible problem without giving them details, it might help protect you and your job. If there is one that you are close to, I would call them ASAP. There is no telling what the OM will try. Just watch your back.
