Just gotta share this with you and hope my instructors never find it ;) ...
I get Jury Duty notification --- inital reaction ---->
Holy muther f'n hell -- I DO NOT have time for this ... for the love of god ... why is this happening now!? What am I supposed to do ... I'm friggin 83 days to graduation and they are throwing this gd crowbar in there!
Huffs ... and puffs.
Next day --- go and talk to my 'clinical director' about it ...and basically she says I HAVE to take the time off for this ... of course I bitch and whine about it ... what a pain in the a$$--- right?
.... As I walked out of her office it dawned on me .... I HAVE to take time off for this! ... hahahaha .... Doesn't that just suck .... right? I CAN'T be forced to work for free out of town ... for those days that I HAVE to LEGALLY ... go to Jury Duty in town. OHH ... sweet perspective changes all.... the irony of something that is such a pain in the ass ... coming right now -- and being a GOOD thing!
