Then. .. you get to work .. just in time to barely be frazzled enough to start the case .... ok calm down .. things are fine --
Oh no wait ... one of the lovely ENT residents freaking extubates my patient oh before it was supposed to happen .... I'm sure they just coughed right?
AND THEN .... next case .. absolute mess --- hypoxic hell .... and to make that better ... he did so not wake up smooth .. you know --- you gotta love patients who want to try and hit you ;) ....
...let's see ..could it get worse ....
Yep --- the secretary is gone so .. all the important papers that were supposed to be turned in LAST friday .... won't even get turned in this friday ... because well .... no one has to work on a friggin friday! ...
Deep breath ... thinking it is going to get better ... eat a trail mix bar (coz well skipped lunch and breakfast) ...
...Pager goes off ...... of course we have another case.
