Do I check phone bill? momuv3: Been 6 weeks tomorrow since he left. We had a shared cel plan that was in my name. About a week after he left, I got an email from the cel company that he was texting over his plan. I mainly had the email alerts for my teenagers who also have phones on the plan. At the time it couldn't tell you to whom he was texing, but that it was going over. After about 3 weeks I asked for the phone back as I knew he wasn't ever going to give me money for it and needed it for my son. I also felt that it was bad to keep the phone on my plan and text other women. My stbxh has never been a big text person. Maybe 5-10 a month tops so to send and recieve 200 in a couple of weeks is a major change to him.
So, I know the last bill is now posted online. Do I go and look and see who it was? Or do I leave it alone at this point? I don't want to further my pain, but am very curious.
Re: Do I check phone bill? trying to cope in Ky: This is just my personal opinion but have looked at my ex's phone bills to find out who he was talking to and it will ultimately drive you NUTS!
I understand that you are curious as we are female and you just feel like you need to know. That will only cause you harm. Please dont look or search anything out about what he is doing. You just hurt yourself. Trust me I have been there done that it truely SUCKS >:(

Re: Do I check phone bill? drowned: I made the mistake and actually played detective and to my suprise the month before she left she had over 500 text messages :o I know maybe I got 30 of them tops.....so what does that tell you.
It hurt so my advice to you is if you really feel you need to know then go ahead but remember the realization of knowing will hurt more than not knowing.

Re: Do I check phone bill? Fjord Girl: I have had every chance and every offer to find about what my ex-husband has been up to. I passed on every one of them, I don't want to know. I see no point in doing that now. Some things are better left unknown, if you're trying protect your heart.
