Makes you wonder how they survived before they met us.... ;)

Oh I know how he survived before.  I shamefully loaned him money and paid for alot before we were married.  He used other women as well.  I guess its just a matter of time before he finds another sucker.  Won't be me though.

He also sent a text this morning saying i should give him my computer.  I said no, i had it before marriage.  He sent another text saying I should buy him another one for his kids....Is he serious?
Re: Do I check phone bill? momuv3: that post above didnt turn out right, but you know what I mean lol

Re: Do I check phone bill? alonewith2: It's okay, soon enough you'll be quoting like crazy!!  ;D

I asked my stbx why he didn't just ask his new girlfriend for that $30 he wanted so that he could go to the Yankee's game.  He told me he didn't feel right asking her for money.  I guess to him it was okay to treat his wife like crap, cheat on her, but then still expect her to give him money when ever he needed some.  ::)

I did a lot of things for him, too, before, during, and after marriage.  I thought I was being a loving supportive wife, but I guess I was being more of a mothering type of figure to him.  Oh well, it's time to cut the apron strings and grow up!

Eventually he'll get the picture...
Re: Do I check phone bill? Whirlpool: I say don't do it, will just make the pain that much more intense. You call him your "STBXH" which tells me you know it is over. Let it be over and don't torture yourself. I speak from experience.
Re: Do I check phone bill? Mooneyes: There are two things that might be considered in this case....

emotions and legalities.  For your emotional health it is better not to know.

For your legal health.. might give you an added benefit.  It is always good to have extra proof when you are going through a divorce (i've been told).  For this reason, it might be better for someone else to do this for you.  Print out the details.  Keep them to provide if needed.  But not actually show you.  A trusted friend... perhaps.  I know my sister keeps tabs on what my ex does.. and thankfully doesn't tell me. (She feels she lost her brother in this divorce)

good luck
