Re: Going out alone? Fjord Girl: And here I am, sitting all by my little self at the coffee house, having my chai, talking to the waiters who pass by, saying hi to people from school who come here often and feeling good about this.
Going out alone isn't that bad. I even went shopping, but I won't say how much I spent on a pair of Merrell shoes. Oh God... :-X

Now see, if I were in that coffee shop I feel certain I would try to strike up a conversation with you.
Re: Going out alone? momuv3: I live in a small town and there is only one place to go here.
Chances are:
-I will run into my stbxh. Wouldn't be good on the emotions.
-Anyone I did talk to I am either related to or already dated in the 6th grade.
-Would get a nasty reputation as a barfly.
So, I sit at home. Night after night. All of my girlfriends are happily married and very seldom venture away from their spouses so they are not even helpful for a movie after dark.
Re: Going out alone? sheeps: It's time to leave Mayberry and head out of town for your nights out. Ange and Barney will still be there when you get back. Perhaps Otis knows of a few nightspots.
Re: Going out alone? momuv3: You made me laugh. I would love to go somewhere....just need the nerve.
