Re: i give up hope is gone vizion000: My situation sounds alot like baffled!...wife decided she didnt love me anymore...decide it was over...but for the moment we are kinda stuck together because of the house and daycare, etc...but it is NO FUN watching them morph into some fiendish life sucking mutant creature...some days are better than other for me..but I know that life does go on, and its getting a little asier to look at her every day...still don't like what i see, but i stopped trying to change it...one things i have learned is that everything isnt meant to be figured out, because some people do irrational things citing rational reasons(that are irrational..if u get my drift)....TRUST ME i was a train wreck for weeks after it was plainly states that she anted a divorce..but its 2months later and we still live in the same house, sux ballz because i want her out of my sight..but I can honestly say it doesnt hurt as much..
For now man, just do what u can to keep your head above water, spend more time with your kids, or revist soem old hobbies or something...idle minds are the playground of the devil lol...if you dwell in it, it will pull u under....

sorry to hear of what you are going through.
i relate, been there done that. thought that life was over and there was no point keep living. apathy, pain and depression.
there's not much you can do right now as you have to live through it.
remember a few things:
-THIS WILL GET BETTER as time goes. we all have proved it
-try to get as much help from other people as possible. your friends, family, strangers, whoever. just try to talk it out as much as possible
-keep logging in on this site. THIS IS THERAPY. read and post, we'll read and reply and support

Re: i give up hope is gone Whirlpool: I was in that same dark place 10 months ago man. While the pain still comes and goes it is a dull pain and does not stay long at all. You will get through this just like everyone else has. It feels like someone tore your heart out of your chest, I know. Hang in there and realize many people have gone through the same and survived it. You will too. Accepting it is over is a step to healing, know that.
Re: i give up hope is gone chaotic: I remember all too clearly those days. I woke up mad, sad, listless, did not want to even turn over in bed.
All of us here are living proof that you get thru this. It makes you a stronger person. There is no magic trick to healing, it just takes time. You will have good days and bad, but eventually the good days will outnumber the bad.

I am sure all of us here at one point or another have felt as you... and beleive you me... there are days I still feel this way, but if you keep walking, what strength does this show to your children.
Do u have any friends, family you can be with, what about your children, do they want to spend time with you?
I am not sure of your story but if you can't take it a day at a time, take it a minute at a time.... WE ARE HERE FOR YOU BUDDY...
