Type: Independent Contractor - Paid Hourly
Initially it will be 5 hours per week but is expected to increase.
Context: OJar.com is a web site dedicated to helping overcome divorce and breakup. We develop and publish content via our very active message board (forum) and original articles.
Each day up to 10,000 unique visitors come to our site seeking advice, interaction and guidance. To help improve the site we are seeking a special person as an Independent Contractor to perform tasks associated with being a "Web Site Moderator".
This role is a 'telecommute role'. This means you perform the role via the web and from a location of your choosing
The special person we are seeking will have the following skills.
Responsibilities will include:

[li"> Writes, edits, proofreads, and copyedits a variety of documents. [/li">
[li"> Reviews web site posts for compliance with sites Terms of Service.[/li">
[li"> Approves or rejects login name registrations. [/li">
[li"> Identifies and removes SPAM from the site. [/li">
[li"> Archives inappropriate content.[/li">
[/list">
This position reports to the Site Owner.
Other Considerations

[li"> You must be eligible to work in the USA and must also be a U.S. Citizen or Resident.

[li"> At the end of the year you will get a Form-1099 and as an Independent Contractor and you are responsible for your own taxes.
