depression tripny2k6: I posted part of my story on here earlier. I'm having a horrible evening. I know that everyone says that time heals and I believe that, but how do you i deal with this terrible depression in the mean time. I've never felt this low and its been almost a month since the breakup.

My passion was cooking and it's been two years that I stoped cooking on my own, just so I didn't have to think of him.
I know it hurts, and I hate it when people tell me it gets better... just take your time and maybe ride a bike, or go see a friend, have a friend come over and cry if you need too!
Re: depression shpek: Hey I know exactly how you feel. I've had a bad few days myself. It's been a month and 1/2 for me. I too feel depressed most of the time. I'm seeing a therapist, I'm in a band and just started going back to the gym. My heart isnt in anything 100% but I know I have to push myself. So I'm telling you to do the same. I know it's not easy and lots of us on this forum understand. You're not alone.

I know this is a drag - depression is such a horrible experience.
When you're feeling low - start walking. That helped me... get the blood flowing.

The feeling is really bad, isn't it? You are still new in this, though. It's only been a month. Something that works for me is interacting with others online, watching tv, going to the gym and taking up a course in the evenings.
Just hang in there, it will get better. I'm 6 months into my situation.
