Re: Anyone else been with an ALCOHOLIC?? gpiilani: Hi..
You sound like me, my husband was more loving, excting, fun, wanted to have sex when he was drinking. It was almost like I wished he would so he could relax and enjoy himself. The wrong thing to!!!! He tried to stop too, sometimes for weeks at a time, then he would always start up again. Since we have been seperated he drinks every night, totally drunk. He started stealing alcohol from work just so he wouldnt need to buy it anymore. I want to help him, but he has to realize he needs help first. I dont think he ever will, it is his best friend.
Re: Anyone else been with an ALCOHOLIC?? sadconfused4: I can not express how amazingly blessed I feel to have found this website.
There is nothing that helps more than having the love, encouragement and support of other people who understand what it's like to have the intense pain and confusion wash over your life when your heart is broken.
Thank you so much to any and everyone who has sent their kind words.
This really is unbelievable.
Everyones advice is SOOOO useful and makes my heart feel better.
I am starting to understand that I really am blessed to have gotten out before we actually got married...as hard as it was to call off our wedding...it would have been harder to live my life with an alcoholic.
Thanks everyone.
