I think you would be suprised to know that most of us do. There are a few out there that dont and they do a great job of making us look bad, but many of us do associate the emotions with the physical.
For the last months of my marriage, I had become so frustrated from trying to "fix" the things that were wrong with our marriage, I had intamacy problems. I just did not want it.
Since my breakup, I have dated a number of women. Been intimate with a couple. Each time, there just was not an emotional connection, and I just did not want it as bad as they did (not that I am some s3x god). This new girl I have been seeing however, I am really starting to get emotionally attached to. So we will see.

Re: Am I being Selfish????? Keepyaheadup: Chaotic, you actually hit it right on the head. He literally did go straight from living with his mom to moving in with me. I guess it's true that you can't change someone...only they can do that for themselves. And, despite how much you love someone, there comes a point where you have to take care of yourself and do what needs to be done to maintain your sanity and keep from going crazy. Relationships are a trip sometimes. We try so hard to make someone else happy that we completely lose ourselves in the process...I miss the person that I used to be.
